Andrzej NedomaÂ
Founder, CEO, Strategic Advisor & High-Performance Coach
Andrzej Nedoma is a former founder and CEO with two international business exits (services and SaaS), who now works as a strategic advisor and Certified High Performance Coach for CEOs and business founders. He helps entrepreneurs navigate growth, leadership transitions, crisis, investor relations, and exit — while building businesses that support both success and personal fulfillment.
He is the founder of ExecSide, a platform designed to support entrepreneurs and executives through clarity, decision-making, execution, and long-term leadership development.
Professional Overview
With more than 25 years of entrepreneurial and executive experience, Andrzej Nedoma has built, scaled, restructured, and sold companies operating internationally, serving clients across Europe, the United States, and global markets. His background combines hands-on operational leadership, crisis management, investor relations (VC and Private Equity), and post-exit transition work.
Today, he works with founders and CEOs as a strategic partner and coach — supporting them in moments when leadership becomes complex, decisions are heavy, and isolation at the top increases.
Entrepreneurial Background
Early Career and First Company
Andrzej’s entrepreneurial journey began during his university studies, after returning from an Erasmus exchange program in Bergamo, Italy. He joined his father’s one-person technical translation business in Kraków, Poland, not as a translator, but with the intention of transforming it into a scalable company.
He led the professionalization of the business:
-
hiring the first employees
-
opening the first external office
-
building operational structures and sales processes
-
creating early internal IT systems to manage production and projects
Over time, the company evolved into an international translation services provider with:
-
~30 in-house staff
-
hundreds of active freelancers
-
thousands of tested language specialists
-
clients primarily in Western Europe
The company was later known as Lidolang Technical Translations.
First Exit (2016)
In 2016, Lidolang was sold to Sepro Group, one of the leading global translation companies, with operations in Europe and the United States.
The exit was preceded by deliberate owner-dependency reduction:
-
creation of a management board
-
delegation of daily operations
-
clear separation between ownership and execution
Post-acquisition, the Kraków office became a major production hub for the buyer’s global operations.
Building and Scaling a SaaS Company
Founding XTRF
While scaling Lidolang, Andrzej identified a lack of suitable management software for translation companies. This led to the founding of XTRF, a technology company developing a Translation Management System (TMS) for the global language services industry.
XTRF evolved from an internal solution into an international SaaS platform serving hundreds of companies worldwide.
Venture Capital, Crisis, and Survival (2016)
XTRF raised venture capital in 2014. In mid-2016, a promised follow-on funding round was unexpectedly cancelled just days before critical payments were due.
At that moment:
-
the company employed nearly 100 people
-
significant liabilities were due within weeks
-
cash reserves were insufficient
The company faced an immediate risk of bankruptcy.
As CEO, Andrzej led an emergency turnaround:
-
same-day reduction of ~25% of staff
-
aggressive cost control and payment renegotiations
-
prepaid sales, service pre-sales, and liquidity-focused actions
-
transparent communication with the team
-
temporary salary deferrals and internal agreements
The company survived without additional external funding.
This period became a defining leadership experience, shaping Andrzej’s approach to focus, decision-making under pressure, and crisis leadership.
Recovery, Buyout, and Final Exit
After stabilizing XTRF:
-
growth was strictly self-financed
-
recurring SaaS revenue became the core model
-
multiple budget scenarios guided investment decisions
-
EBITDA profitability was achieved
Ongoing conflicts with VC investors intensified. During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, Andrzej identified an opportunity to regain control and led a management buyout, personally securing financing (including private collateral) to buy out the investors.
Within months of the buyout, the transaction attracted market attention. Multiple inbound acquisition offers followed.
In September 2021, Andrzej and his partners completed a 100% sale of XTRF to a Private Equity buyer. The exit valuation was more than double the VC buyout valuation and over ten times larger than Andrzej’s first exit.
He remained involved during a nine-month transition period, supporting:
-
leadership continuity
-
governance under Private Equity ownership
-
appointment of a new managing director
Transition to Advisory and Coaching
Following his second exit, Andrzej did not return to operating another startup. Instead, founders and CEOs began approaching him for support — drawn by his experience across:
-
growth and scaling
-
crisis and turnaround
-
VC and Private Equity dynamics
-
management buyouts and exits
Initially acting as a strategic advisor and consultant, Andrzej later expanded his work through executive coaching.
He is trained as a Certified High Performance Coach under Brendon Burchard and applies a coaching philosophy focused on:
-
clarity of goals and priorities
-
constructive challenge
-
decision-making and execution
His core belief is that most entrepreneurs do not lack knowledge or strategy — they struggle with implementation, focus, and accountability.
ExecSide Platform
To scale his impact beyond 1-on-1 work, Andrzej founded ExecSide — a platform supporting entrepreneurs and executives through structured, ongoing development.
ExecSide combines:
-
regular leadership content and insights
-
monthly group coaching sessions
-
peer-to-peer accountability partnerships
-
a growing library of practical business courses
The platform is designed to help founders move from overwhelm and isolation toward purposeful, sustainable leadership.
Leadership Philosophy & Personal Development
Andrzej’s leadership philosophy is deeply influenced by endurance sports. During the most difficult period at XTRF, he began training for Ironman competitions, using the discipline and resilience of long-distance triathlon as a parallel to long-term leadership challenges.
He has completed multiple Ironman 70.3 races and a full Ironman distance after his business exit.
He believes that building a successful business requires not only strategy and execution, but also:
-
energy management
-
emotional resilience
-
clarity of personal purpose
Mission
Andrzej Nedoma’s mission is to help entrepreneurs and business leaders build companies that enable the life they want — not consume it.
Through coaching, advisory work, and scalable platforms, he supports founders in becoming confident, purposeful leaders capable of navigating growth, transition, and exit with clarity and integrity.
