A Journey of Growth, Professionalization and High-Value Exits
Â
For over 25 years, I’ve lived the full entrepreneurial journey—starting, growing, scaling, and successfully exiting businesses. My experience spans building international companies, leading large teams, navigating complex investor relations, and executing high-value exits.
But along the way, I noticed something critical—not just in others, but in myself. Entrepreneurs often sacrifice joy and personal fulfillment for success. The constant pressure from clients, employees, investors, and vendors creates isolation, stress, and exhaustion.
That’s why I now dedicate my time to coaching and advising business leaders — helping them not just achieve exceptional business results,
but also balance, fulfillment, and the energy they once had when they started.

Where It All Began
From Family Business to International Success
01.
Â
The personal entrepreneurial journey started in 1996, when I joined my parents’ family-run translation services company, LIDO-LANG Specialised Translations in Krakow. Like many founders, we started small—handling projects, managing client relationships, and building a reputation. But I saw a much bigger potential.
02.
Â
As I took on leadership responsibilities, I knew we had to scale beyond the limitations of a family-owned business. I focused on professionalizing the company—introducing structured management systems, operational processes, and a leadership team capable of taking us to the next level.
This transition—from a family-run business to a professionally managed, scalable company—is one of the most difficult transformations for many entrepreneurs. I experienced first-hand the challenge of letting go of family-driven decision-making, introducing external leadership, and ensuring the company could grow beyond its founders.
03.
Â
After years of strategic development and expansion, LIDO-LANG became one of Central Europe’s top translation companies and was eventually acquired in 2016 by SeproTec Multilingual Solutions, a global leader in the industry.
This was my first major exit, but my journey was just beginning.
Building XTRF
Scaling Faster, Attracting Investors and Engineering a High-Value Exit
Even while I was growing LIDO-LANG, I saw an even bigger opportunity—technology and automation. The translation and localization industry was in desperate need of efficiency, and I knew software could provide the solution.
That’s when I co-founded XTRF Management Systems, a Translation Management Platform that transformed how hundreds of agencies in over 30 countries handled project management, automation, and business operations.
But this time, my journey was different. XTRF was designed for fast scaling from the start.
I focused on:
- Attracting venture capital investment
a rare achievement for an early-stage business in Central Europe
at the time. - Transforming XTRF
from a traditional license-based software company into
a fully-fledged SaaS business. - International expansion
rapidly growing our global client base. - Executing a strategic investor buyout
a crucial milestone in preparing for a high-value exit.
Â

Every step was deliberate and strategic. Scaling fast, securing funding, and transitioning into a SaaS model positioned us for a much larger acquisition than my first.
My experiences as a CEO gave me countless opportunities to learn. It wasn’t always easy, but over time, I came to understand the true role of a leader—the responsibility not just for decisions, but for the people, the vision, and the future of the company. This realization led me to seek guidance, including working with my first coach. That experience opened my eyes to the incredible benefits of structured support, not only for my own growth but also for the long-term success of the company.
Finally, in 2021, I led XTRF to a major exit, selling it to K1 Investment Management, a private equity firm in Los Angeles. This time, the transaction was over ten times larger than my first.
Through this experience, I mastered the art of scaling rapidly, managing investor expectations, increasing valuation, and executing high-stakes negotiations with buyers.

Why I Now Help Other Entrepreneurs and Executives
Through my own entrepreneurial journey, I saw what so many founders struggle with:
Feeling isolated at the top
CEOs carry the weight of decision-making alone.
Constant pressure
from clients, employees, investors, and partners, leading to burnout.
Losing sight of fulfillment
many entrepreneurs forget the energy and passion they had when they started.
Running a business is one challenge. Doing it with joy and fulfillment is an entirely different one.
For years, I felt the same.
But I discovered that success and personal fulfillment don’t have to be at odds.
It’s possible to:
- Scale a business while maintaining balance.
- Lead with clarity and confidence instead of stress and exhaustion.
- Build a business that aligns with your life and personal ambitions.
That’s why I now coach and advise entrepreneurs, CEOs, and executives—helping them not just grow and exit successfully, but also find joy in the process.
I work online and in person, guiding business leaders in English, Italian, French, and Polish, ensuring they make bold, strategic decisions while staying personally fulfilled.
Beyond Business
Endurance, Mindset and Ironman Triathlons

My passion for Ironman Triathlons is a reflection of my business philosophy. Endurance, discipline, and smart decision-making are just as essential in business leadership as they are in high-performance sports.
This mindset is what I bring into my coaching—helping entrepreneurs not only succeed in business but also live fulfilling, high-energy lives. And while business and sport challenge me to push my limits, the greatest experiences and motivation come from my family. Being a happy father and partner brings balance, joy, and perspective, and their unwavering support fuels my drive to grow and help others do the same.
Endurance, discipline, and smart decisions are essential in business leadership.
-
